UPDATE: May, 2010 - I originally chose a one-year timeline beginning in November, 2009; however, I find in order to create quality paintings, I need more time developing my art rather than churning out quick sketches or factory-style paintings that don't allow for artistic growth. Therefore, I've removed the time limit to pursue new techniques, styles and genre. These paintings are meant to be exercises for growth and may not always be original work or even necessarily posted here.

UPDATE: May 2011 - I've been learning a lot more about values and how to improve my paintings with them. Hopefully there'll be a noticeable difference in paintings #57 and beyond....
